Recipe Hunt: Pork & Mushroom Sugo
I had a delicious meal on Friday night and I want to figure out how to recreate it. It was basically a pork and mushroom sugo with tagliatelle. It had a very mild tomato flavor, but was really all about the pork and shrooms. Anyone have a recipe in their repertoire to share with me?
I need more info – was the pork shredded? was it wet? was it fresh tomato? added at the end, or at the start of the sauce? Most importantly, where did you eat this creation?
Ate it at SPQR. The pork was shredded. Tomato was an afterthought… probably canned. And I’d guess added early. Quite good.
I think I’ve got something similar. My grandma makes something we call “eat it meat” but it’s beef. I’ll look up this other thing and send it on. It’s from epicurious…..
